Mobile palettes (or why we reinvented the wheel)
The eBeam palettes result from deep thought on the ergonomic quality of the IWB software used by a teacher. This teacher was not a computer expert. What was needed was to make available, as intuitively as possible, the main tools that teachers needed to use.
So we simplified the learning process as much as possible, so the teacher simply has a “wheel”, which is always visible and includes all the important commands the teacher will need.
We took it upon ourselves to simplify the interface for all teachers. We didn’t want to make it heavier and heavier or more complex just for those few expert users out there. We took the “iPod” approach (fr) for a simplified IWB. Learning the wheel only takes a few minutes.
The “Wheel” lets you add notes to anything you want on the projection screen and also work with your PowerPoint right in front of your audience, retrieving the same notes! One of the stylus buttons lets you move the palette wherever you need it, and you can make it disappear too.
Don’t hide yourself anymore behind your narrow laptop screen. Don’t present from way in the back of the room either… The eBeam Project IWB will help you captivate your audience!
