HDMI wireless mirror wifi flash drive
Project the content of your tablet or smartphone wirelessly (iOS, Android) onto the screen in full HD.
It is extremely practical for users who want to teach or give presentations using their iPad, for example, because everything they do on their iPad (not just the document, but their notes too) will project on the interactive video projector screen or on the interactive screen.
The wireless flash drive plugs into the HDMI port on the screen and and is powered by the USB. In other words, it is perfect for NEC-eBeam interactive video projectors which have 2 HDMI ports (you can use one port for the PC in “normal” interactive mode and one port for the wireless flash drive in “tablet” interactive mode). The same goes for the new SpeechiTouch interactive screens which have 3 HDMI ports.
The mirror wifi flash drive is also perfect for pairing an iPad or an Android tablet wirelessly with the Lumens DC 192 viewer. The video below explains how a teacher or presenter can very easily present content from a tablet, using images from the viewer to enliven the presentation.
EZCast Pro Version
The new “Pro version of our HDMI wireless mirror flash drive:
- bandwidth x 2: multiplies by two the (real) wifi bandwidth of our older version…
- network stability: … while making this connection more stable (particularly when the environment is chaotic because of lots of co-existing wifi networks)
- works in auto-supplying mode (MHL). For all interactive video projectors or screens that have this function, you can plug directly into the MHL port of the screen without additional power.
- Collaborative Functions: the new hardware can be configured to connect several tablets by flash drive. We are working on this function now to enable firmware to be updated and allow users to to better manage a “fleet” of tablets (up to 32). Then it will be easy for the teacher to choose the tablet of a student and then project it.
