Can I publish and use Speechi presentations on any Web server? Don’t I depend on your servers for publishing?
Absolutely. You can use any Web server to publish your Speechi presentations. You don’t depend on our servers at all.
I have completed my Speechi presentation. How do I publish it online?
Just upload your presentation folder by clicking on the “Upload Speechi Presentation” button in the Speechi toolbar. The presentation will be uploaded to the designated Web server as specified in the Setup section. The presentation will play from URL: www.yourserver.com/your_presentation.
Remember your presentation folder is in “My documents/speechi”
You can also upload the presentation on any Web server using a FTP program like CuteFTP or SmartFTP.
What is the sound quality in Speechi?
You can tune Speechi to generate Hi-Fi quality MP3 presentations (for ADSL users) or decide to slightly decrease sound quality until you reach phone sound quality. The decision is yours depending on your target audience.
To reach optimal sound quality, a qood quality microphone is required.
My audience mostly uses modems. Will they be able to run my Speechi presentations?
Yes. With Speechi, you can tune your presentations to run on low bandwidths, like modems.
Can I make my Speechi presentations look more personal by adding my own logo?
Yes. You can add your logo, your photo and your name into your final Speechi presentation. Also, the look and feel of your original PowerPoint is 100% the same in Speechi.
Can I use Speechi without PowerPoint?
No. All products except Speechi Share require PowerPoint.
How much hard disk do I need on my computer to record a 1 hour conference?
Not much.
If you use the “Modem quality” option, 1 hour of conference will use 18 MB hard disk space (this means over 1000 hours on a 10 GB drive!)
If you use “low quality” option (enough for most uses), one hour of conference will use about 8 MB hard disk (this means about 2500 hours on a 10 GB hard drive).
